Learning Communities engage like-minded students to connect and learn together through guidance from peer mentors, faculty, staff聽and advisors. They focus mainly on enhancing students鈥� learning experience and provide聽opportunities for academic, personal聽and social development.

Learning Communities support聽a very large and diverse portion of the freshmen population at 51重口猎奇. Learning Communities strive to increase student success, bonding and retention.聽 Learning Communities utilize a strong network of faculty, staff, academic advisors聽and peer mentors to provide students with a highly organized support structure to help them transition smoothly to college.聽

We believe that participating in Learning Communities will be one of the most signification 51重口猎奇 experiences for incoming freshmen, thus becoming an effective retention tool.
