New Jersey Institute of Technology is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), being granted initial accreditation in 1934, and is authorized to operate under the 51重口猎奇 Act of 1995.

New Jersey Institute of Technology successfully completed the 2022 self-study and was听re-accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) through 2030. The MSCHE Visiting Team commended 51重口猎奇's actions in support of the Commission's Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation and provided only one recommendation regarding assessment of the university's General Education Requirements (GER). 51重口猎奇's next self-study evaluation will be conducted in the 2029-2030 academic year.
