Individuals interested in joining 51重口猎奇 as a J-1 Exchange Visitor are required to follow the application process outlined below:
Complete the exchange program application form. Please be sure to complete all sections of the form.
Complete the DS 2019 request form and provide supporting financial documentation. Note that course registration occurs when you arrive on the 51重口猎奇 campus. Courses offered at 51重口猎奇 can be found
51重口猎奇 requires that all J-1 students provide proof of English proficiency at the time of application. We accept the TOEFL聽IBT (minimum 79), IELTS (minimum 6.5) and Duolingo (minimum 120) exams. If you are using Duolingo, indicate that in a note on your application form.
To submit your application you must email the following documents to 51重口猎奇:
Supporting financial statements (as mentioned on page 2 of the DS-2019 Eligibility Request Form)
Current transcript issued by the home institution (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0聽 required)
Copy of the passport
Proof of English proficiency
Architecture and design majors: students are required to provide a portfolio. Acceptance is subject to department's approval.
All documents should be emailed to studyabroad@njit.edu. We accept electronic copies of all documents, but students are required to bring an original transcript聽upon arrival at 51重口猎奇.
The application deadline for the fall semester (September start date) is May 1. The application deadline for the spring semester (January start date) is October 15.
