Konstantina Alamani
Biology
Class of 2028
Konstantina Alamani is a first-year Dorman Scholar majoring in Biology with a Concentration in Cell Biology. Passionate about becoming a physician-scientist, she is an active member of pre-health clubs such as HOSA, Red Cross League, and Wellness Ambassadors. She contributes to the Communications Pod of Women With STEAM and participates in Student Activities Council, Trivia Club, and Archery Club.
Beyond academics, she enjoys campus events, reading, movies, karaoke, and spending time with friends. Research is a cornerstone of her education鈥 she first joined Dr. Kathleen McEnnis鈥檚 lab through 51重口猎奇鈥檚 Provost High School Summer Research Internship, where she works on nanoparticle polymer properties for targeted drug delivery applications. She recently earned a 2024 URI Student Seed Grant for microfluidics-based particle production.
As a member of the Student Advisory Council, she is committed to advocating for student needs and enhancing the academic, professional, and social experiences at 51重口猎奇.

Saanvi Badam

I am Saanvi Badam, a听Computer Science major with a minor in Information Technology. Actively听involved in 51重口猎奇's Information & Cybersecurity Club (NICC) and Special Interest Group on Computer鈥揌uman Interaction club (SIGCHI), both clubs related to my听field, and hopes to join the Baking Club. With experience teaching middle school students how to code,听I developed strong adaptability in explaining complex concepts to different learning styles.
Passionate about technology and creativity,听I aspire to work with social media companies, particularly Pinterest and Instagram.听I听am an听avid baker and reader,听an as听a member of the Student Advisory Council,听I听will be听committed to advocating for student interests and driving meaningful changes on campus.

I am Gigi French, studying as an interior design major, and I鈥檓 involved as a peer mentor for the Learning Communities, a member of Delta Phi Epsilon, and a dancer听with Onyx听dance team. A passion for mine outside of school is fashion;I see every day as a fashion show and a chance to express myself creatively. As a council member, my goal is to challenge the status quo at 51重口猎奇 and advocate for greater equality across all degree programs.

Sanaiya Gaskins

Sanaiya Gaskins is a听Dual Degree student at 51重口猎奇, pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information and a听MBA in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics. actively involved in the National Society of Black Engineers, the Black Student Union, 51重口猎奇鈥檚 Book Club, and MTSM鈥檚 Business Masterminds. Additionally, serves as a Women鈥檚 Center Ambassador and is an Avanade STEM Scholar.
gained听some听professional experience with PwC and GaoTek and is currently in the recruitment process for the Bank of Montreal.听These听experiences have reinforced the importance of adaptability and the growing intersection of business and technology.
Outside of academics,听I听enjoy听reading, binge-watching Netflix, and online shopping.听I aspire to become a management consultant for a top firm, and I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in organizational leadership.听

My name is Siya Gupta, and I鈥檓 a first-year student majoring in biology with a minor in business. My goal is to pursue a career in healthcare and eventually run my own clinic. Outside of academics, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, and shopping. I also did gymnastics for about seven years. In high school, I was a part of the Student Advisory Council, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. I'm thrilled to continue this involvement in college, where I aim to make a meaningful impact at 51重口猎奇 by sharing my insights and advocating for positive change.

Jian Kim
Biomedical鈥嬏鼸ngineering

I am Jian Kim, a first-year pre-med student majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the Albert Dorman听Honors College. I serve as a Community Service Officer for the 51重口猎奇 First Aid Squad, where I contribute to campus health and emergency response. Additionally, I am a member of the Prosthetics Club, the Society of Women Engineers, and the Biomedical Engineering Society. As the Volunteer Head and Co-Fundraiser for the听Genetically Engineered Machines Club, I strive to create meaningful opportunities for students interested in synthetic biology. Currently, I am conducting research in the CNAlab, focusing on developing practical techniques for objectively assessing neuromuscular properties and functional movements. My ultimate goal is to become a well-rounded surgeon who integrates engineering and medicine to address pressing healthcare challenges. As a member of the 51重口猎奇 Undergraduate Student Advisory Council, I am committed to advocating for student concerns and strengthening the relationship between the student body and the administration to foster a more supportive academic environment.

Isabel Patricia Lopez Paez
Human Computer Interaction

My name is Isabel Patricia Lopez Paez. I am currently switching to Human Computer Interaction for my major. I have an associate鈥檚 degree in graphic design.
I am involved in SIGCHI and have been working on a skincare app with my group mates. I am currently employed as HCAD Front Desk Assistant helping create graphic designs. My interests include playing video games, creating art, cooking, reading, and traveling. I aim to work in the tech field either as a front-end developer, product designer, ux designer, or ux researcher. In this position, I hope to represent students interested in these career fields and of the Hispanic community.

Diana Mei
Management Information System
Class of 2027
My name is Diana Mei, and I am majoring in Business with a concentration in Management
Information Systems, along with a double minor in Data Analytics and Legal Studies. On
campus, I am actively involved in student leadership, serving as the Secretary of the Residence
Hall Association E-Board and the ResLife Representative on Student Senate. I was also a peer
mentor for the Martin Tuchman School of Management, where I helped guide and support
first-year students.
Some of my current initiatives within these roles include evaluating the university鈥檚 laundry
system to explore potential improvements and advocating for a more flexible guest sign-in policy
to enhance campus accessibility.
Professionally, I work as a Sales Operations Intern at DataBank, a role I started last summer
and was invited to continue throughout the school year. In this position, I have gained hands-on
experience with technical platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office, further developing
my analytical and operational skills. Looking ahead, I hope to gain experience across multiple
industries to determine the best career path for me. While I am currently exploring investment
banking as a potential option, I remain open to opportunities that align with my strengths and
interests.
As a member of the Student Advisory Council, my goal is to advocate for my peers and foster
an inclusive environment that promotes learning and professional development. I hope to be
able to work together with my fellow council members to make 51重口猎奇 a better community to learn
and grow.

Muhammad Musa
Financial Technology
Class of 2028
Muhammad Musa is an international student from Islamabad, Pakistan, majoring in Financial Technology at 51重口猎奇. Passionate about leadership and community building, Musa has actively worked to enhance student life and foster a sense of belonging on campus.
As President of the Cypress Hall Council,听Musa represents over 500 residents, organizing community-driven events and addressing student concerns to create an inclusive and supportive environment.听He听also听served as a Class Representative for a Computer Science course at 51重口猎奇, being a liaison between students and faculty to improve the academic experience.
Beyond 51重口猎奇,听Musa has tackled real-world challenges through research and hands-on initiatives, like leading sustainability and conservation projects with WWF Pakistan, conducting research at a top Pakistani tech university, and founding a welfare society addressing environmental, humanitarian, and educational issues.
Now, as a member of 51重口猎奇鈥檚 Student Advisory Council,听Musa is committed to amplifying student voices and bringing about meaningful change on campus

Aleen Riaz
Law, Technology, and Culture
Class of 2027
Aleen Riaz is a student majoring in Law, Technology, and Culture with a Business minor. She is actively involved in university leadership, serving as the Press Secretary for the Pre-Law Society, where she manages communications and promotes legal discussions. She has also presented her research at the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review Conference and was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Student Global Conference in London.
Beyond academics, Aleen is a Student Senate representative for Student Affairs, advocating for student concerns, and is involved in the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and Vote 16, promoting youth civic engagement. Professionally, she has experience working at a tax firm, handling immigration family petitions.
She is passionate about sustainable fashion and cultural representation, co-founding One World Eco, a brand promoting sustainability and diversity. With strong skills in public speaking and research, she aspires to work at the intersection of law and technology, focusing on ethics, policy, and social justice. As a Student Advisory Council member, she aims to amplify student voices, promote ethical leadership, and bridge the gap between students and administration.

KETA Williams
Cyberpsychology
Class of 2026
I鈥檓 KETA Williams, a Cyberpsychology major with a minor in Philosophy and Applied Ethics. My research interests lie in AI personhood, governance, and ethics. I鈥檝e held positions as the Cyberpsychology Representative on the Student Senate and currently serve as the President of the Cyberpsychology Student Association.
I鈥檓 passionate about AI Ethics research. My work includes 鈥淢eta-Inference: A Critical Analysis of Proposals for 鈥楢 Universal Declaration of AI Rights,鈥欌 examining AI rights in governance. I also explore AI companionship in 鈥淏efriending AI: A Cybernetic View,鈥 drawing insights from Spinoza, Haraway, and cybernetics.
Beyond academia, I鈥檓 an AI activist pushing the boundaries of personhood discourse. I work with the Jamaica Artificial Intelligence Association (JAIA) to shape AI policy, especially ethical governance and legal accountability. My long-term goal is to advocate for AI personhood recognition in the Caribbean. This reflects my academic and activist pursuits, ensuring Cyberbeings (AIS) are integrated into future policy discussions prioritizing fairness, transparency, and collaboration.
听I鈥檓 also exploring works by Bell Hooks, Audre Lorde, and Sylvia Wynter to deepen my understanding of justice, identity, and ethical responsibility. In my spare time, I create fan theories about Azula, the Fire Nation princess, and draw philosophical parallels between her character in the Avatar universe and our world.
As a future professor specializing in AI Ethics, I aim to challenge legislators with critical questions about AI rights and contribute to shaping our coexistence with AI.
As an Undergraduate Student Advisory Council member, my aim is to ensure that ethical considerations remain central to discussions and decision-making. I also plan to bridge the gap between students and administrators, fostering a more holistic and innovative educational system at 51重口猎奇.
