Graduate Student Employees

UCAN-eligible Teaching & Research Assistants听听

础听UCAN-eligible Graduate Student Employee听must meet the following听criteria听in order to be governed by the UCAN Agreement. He or she must be an employee who:

1. is a full-time,听enrolled PhD student听according to 51重口猎奇 doctoral program requirements (students registered for less than 9 credits听must be certified full-time听to be eligible);

2. is in听good academic standing听as defined by the Graduate Student Catalog;

3. is enrolled for an entire academic year in an approved 51重口猎奇 PhD program (students admitted and enrolled in PhD programs beginning in the Spring semester of an academic year are deemed to meet this requirement);

4. has also received a full time scholarship for tuition and applicable fees based upon his/her academic credentials, and

5. is receiving an employment stipend for TA (Teaching Assistant) and/or RA (Research Assistant) services performed as an employee as set forth in a University approved job description as set in the Appendices of the (UCAN) Agreement.

Other Conditions for Support:

• Nominated students听registered for less than 9 credits must be certified full time (FT)听by applying for FT certification in Highlander Pipeline.

• Nominated students must听accept their award as per the instructions in the offer letter/email.
