Hashimoto Fellowship
Awarded to selected graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering on the basis of academic excellence and promise for a career devoted to advancements in the field of electrical and/or computer engineering.
Hashimoto Prize
The Hashimoto Prize, valued at $5,000 is awarded each year at the 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ Commencement to an outstanding doctoral candidate who has demonstrated achievement and academic excellence.
Nomination by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department for review by the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies and the Dean of the Newark College of Engineering.
Bar Ness Fellowship
Eligibility: currently enrolled student in Electrical or Computer Engineering, GPA of 3.5 or better, academic endeavors are directed toward Communications and Signal Processing
Selection is made by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with the concurrence of the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies
PhoneTel Fellowship
For graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence and promise for a career devoted to advancements in the fields of electrical and/or computer engineering
Ross Fellowship
Supports students pursuing the doctorate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
First preference: International students from Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden or other European countries
Jerome Drexler Fellowship
Financial assistance to a graduate student in Electrical Engineering
Based on merit to be used toward tuition or unmet financial needs
Eligibility: U.S. citizen
Selection made by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with the concurrence of the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies and the Director of Financial Aid.
